Assalamualaikum and 'salam sejahtera'...
This is my first blog and before this, although I am a blog walker but sincerely I do not know how to create a blog. I am not interested about writing, I just like to read people's writing so that is why I'm not like blogging like most of my friends.
But, in this semester I am taking ICT in Biology course and my lecturer Prof. Dr. Sopia Md Yasin was asked me to create my own blog. Before this, i'm just know about the individual blog that just write about the author's life and novels. But, different with Dr Sopia she asked my friends and I to create a professional education blog or E-portfolio as our task in this course.
We were taught by Dr Sopia ang Mr Junaidi about how to create the E-portfolio and what the information that we must upload in our blog. Mr Junaidi also taught us how to upload the materials into our E-portfolio.
I think this is the new experience that I never have before. By trying something new like this makes I am so excited to explore the blogger world and learn more about this course. For me, this E-portfolio not just about a task that given by my lecturer, but I can use this blog to help myself in improving my teaching and learning skills in Biology. Moreover, I really hope this E-portfolio also can help other people in their learning process.
Other than this e-portfolio, my friend and I also was introduced by Dr Sophia with Interactive White Board (IWB). While I am in this course then I know that study nowadays are not so boring like in my last time. Do you know, when the first time I learn about how to use this smart board I feel so excited and attracting. this smart board is really enjoyable and interactive. There are a variety of materials and application that we can use in teaching Biology for the students. It is very sensitive when we touch it's screen and we also can use the IWB pen and duster. This IWB is connected with laptop and a little bit difficult to manage in the first time. But, now after 14 weeks I can feel that I am more comfortable to use this smart board for my teaching in Biology.
Then, in this course we also learn about how to use data logger and camstudio. Data logger is an equipment that we use in experiment to get accurate reading. There are some sensor of data logger such as Temperature sensor, Dissolve Oxygen sensor, Humidity sensor, Pulse sensor, and pH sensor. The graph also ready illustrated after we use the sensor. this equipment is really save our time and showing us even the small degree changes of our data. I am very grateful because we have this data logger in doing our experiment because it is so useful and easy to use.
Moreover, for the last 2 class for this subject we were taught how to use simulation and modelling for enhance our students understanding about the Biology concept. The simulation and modelling can be show up with the some video and animation. This animation will help students to understand about the lesson. This simulation and modelling also very attractive and enjoyable to conduct.
As a conclusion, there are so many new experience and knowledge that I have learn in this ICT in Biology course. This course was really taught me how to teach and interact with students nowadays using the ICT. Here, I want to thank my lecturer, Prof Dr Sopia Md Yasin, Cik Siti Shamsiah and Mr Junaidi that have bring me to learn more about the ICT. Credits also for all of my friends that was help me a lot along this 14 weeks. THANKS to all...

I believe that education is an individual, unique experience for every student who enters a classroom. In order for children to benefit from what schools offer, I think that teachers must fully understand the importance of their job. First, I believe that teachers must consider teaching to be a lifestyle, not just 5 days a week job,because a teacher's goals for the students is more than to make students pass in their exam. As professionals entrusted with the education of young minds, I think teachers must facilitate learning and growth academically, personally, and ethically. By providing a quality education to each individual in one's classroom, a teacher equips children with the tools necessary for success in life.
My philosophy of education including several parts. I believe that education is not only an academic thing, it is emotional, social, academic, and physical. I also think that a teacher should be a facilitator or a guide to learning not just as the knowledge-giver. Moreover, I am believe that teaching is developing life-long learners. These are all concepts that I included in my philosophy. Thanks...

This is my first final project for my TBZ 2033, Biodiversity and Evolution of Monera, Protista and Animalia course. Here, my friends and I that taking this course were asked by our lecturer Miss Mai Shihah Abdullah to make one programme for school students to make them feel near with the animals and our nature. So after having discussing among us, we come out with "Jom Bersama Masuk Zoo programme". We also made a cooperation with some students and teachers from one of a cluster school that was Sekolah Kebangsaan Sultan Idris II.
